…Bring your own Brush

Early Saturday morning, Hubster and I took a quick trip to Home Depot to buy paint. We He started painting the house by 10:30 am and completed the entire back of the house and part of the side on Saturday. By Sunday afternoon, only the front of the house needs paint. Photos will follow in the coming weeks when it is complete. I must say, so far he is doing a fabulous job. He definitely has a back-up career if needed.

This is not Hubster, but his precision and cut-in skills are equal to this professional.

Peggy Anne came down this weekend to stay with us and celebrate¬†two events; her mother, Dotty’s 85th birthday and our 34th anniversary of moving into our college dorm as roommates. Hubster prepared shrimp scampi on Friday night and fortunately there was enough left over to share with Peggy Anne’s parents on Saturday.

This was the photo before it was fully garnished…once garnished we forgot we wanted to take another photo…it was delicious.

Peggy Anne’s dad, Fergus thinks we are gourmet chef’s. We do not eat like this all the time.

While Hubster painted on Saturday and Sunday, Peggy Anne and I visited her parents and were able to enjoy the pool at her parents’ condo. ¬†I can’t believe I am saying this, but I actually feel refreshed and ready to go back to school.

Happy Monday all.

I hope you have a great week at school, it’s nice to start off the week feeling refreshed! You are so lucky that your hubster is so talented! Mine painted houses during his college career for spending money. Alas, he has permanently lost his paintbrush!
