It started with a simple question from a stranger…”Do you have a pen?”
Probably what he had in mind
“Yes, I have a pen.”
I opened my little purse only to discover I did not have a pen, but I did have a lovely blue eyeliner pencil.
Maybe it was Maybelline
He took the blue eyeliner pencil and wrote down the phone number of a friend he hadn’t seen in a while.
That friend would be the best man in our wedding 4 years and 10 months later.
