Nothing to Report…

report cards

I am in the midst of report card season. This means I have spent the last several days trying to come up with new and exciting ways to inform parents that their student is demonstrating academically above grade level, on grade level or perhaps even, below grade level. No one wants to hear the last three words. Anyway…I won’t be back until next week when I can write something other than it has been a pleasure getting to know…..he/she is ….., in the second quarter your student would benefit from….

My creative writing ability is spread quite thin right now…see you next week. For now enjoy….

more school

The quote below sounds like something I might have said on the rare occasion I earned a C. Not trying to brag, but I was a pretty motivated student….especially when the nuns instilled the fear of God and corporal punishment if your grades did not cut the mustard.

I never forged a signature…in crayon, pen or pencil…I had older siblings that tried this…you learn a lot by watching those who come before you.

Happy Wednesday!

Epic meltdown from the 3 year old in the house yesterday. Not sure my parenting would have earned me an A…not even for effort, it was so bad. However, after reading this, I am reminded of where I should be and why. Happy writing…after this week, you’ll only have to do it three more times this year…that means you’re 25% of the way done! (or 1/4 or 0.25 or 25/100, but I suppose you already knew that). I’ll say a little prayer that there are more who go than come between now and then. 🙂

You are definitely in the right place at the right time. Surviving the meltdown would score you “proficient” even though you may feel “needs development”. I am almost done and only 133 more days to go…Take Care
